2 Day Neon Bootcamp (8 hours)

Service Description

This class is designed for students wanting to build onto their basic neon knowledge. Each student will be encouraged to design, bend and build one small (17" square or equivalent) neon project. Students will NOT be bombarding in this class but it will be demonstrated . DAY TWO (4 hours) : neon industry history, glass color theory, bending practice, project pattern creation, choosing a font, equipment setup and acquisition, neon shop safety. HOMEWORK: Researching, finalizing, and drawing out your neon pattern to have ready for day two. DAY TWO (4 hours) : Bending neon onto your pattern, electrode instruction, bombarding demonstration, tipping off demonstration, neon unit aging, and finally installation tips.
